About
Dùn (doon)
A Gaelic word for fort. For stronghold. For the kind of place people built when they meant to stay. You'll find it hidden in half the place names in Scotland. Dunbar. Dundee. Edinburgh itself.
You know how it goes.
Manchester. Toronto. New York. London. Twenty-odd years of cities, culture, noise.
Then one day you come back. Scotland. The coast. The hills. The quiet you didn't know you'd missed.
Norwegian roots. Orcadian blood. A soft spot for Scots Gaelic and a hard spot for good design.
Turns out you can take the person out of the city but you can't take the city out of the person.
So this is Dùn.
